Sudbury, The Mill 1895

More about this scene
The Town Mill was built on the site of a Saxon mill. The youths sitting on the wall in front could be posing for the camera, or they might just be dangling a line into the mill stream to see what they might catch. In recent years, the building has been converted into a hotel, with the water wheel inside kept as a feature of the dining room.
