Tadley, Bishopswood Road Parade c.1965

More about this scene
Tadley is not far from the Berkshire border. It looks as if the Austin A30 has hit the post box! The architecture of the Parade is typical of characterless post-war building - but it serves a purpose, for there are a variety of shops for the locals. In the northern part of Tadley stands the church of St Paul. This was completed in 1965, and has a triangular bell tower.
