More about this scene
Looking back up North Street towards the Parade and Market House, with the Post Office on the left, as it still is today. It is interesting to observe how many people wore hats or caps in the first half of the last century. Apart from the occasional sun hat on a hot day, such headwear is unusual in North Street today.
