More about this scene
In a well-treed setting, the church is seen from the west. This small elevated village lies about a mile to the north-east of Melton Mowbray on the A607 Grantham road. There are earthworks to the south- west of the church, the remains of what appears to be a 17th-century formal garden, and eroded house platforms along the south side of the road. The church tower was rebuilt in 1875 by R W Johnson.
