My 2 Year Childhood Memories In Thurcroft.

A Memory of Thurcroft.

When I was about 18months old, my mum got ill after having my sister. I was taken to live with my Great Grandparents in Thurcroft. Mr & Mrs Quinn. These are the some of the best memories of my life. My Great Grandmother was a very caring & loving Nan & my Great Grandfather looked after the local church, which had a stage, which I loved to perform my own song & Dance things. Which much to my delight would make my Great Grandad would giggle at. This was in the 60.s. I have never felt so loved & cared for as I did by the lovely people there. Even the people who worked at the local corner shop. It is such a shame in this country, these sort of Close Communityies are all gone. I ad the perfect childhood here & loved all the people here. Very many good memories of Thurcroft! Thankyou for teaching me values I learnt there. Mrs Elizabeth Masterman (formerly Bellamy)
