Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

A Memory of Timperley.

I remember this picture very well. Between the ages of 6 and 11, I walked past this school everyday, turning left up a footpath just beyond the two parked cars, on my way to Navigation Road School. On the right hand side of the road very close to the parked cars was Wellington Road Boys School market garden which was tended by the boys.

I too used to walk past the School on my way to Navigation Road from the age of 5 in 1961 until 11. We used to walk in all weather, including the famous 1963 winter. If anyone remembers me my name is Longster and I lived at 90 Wellington Road.

I remember a tunnel leading from the school garden to a cellar in the house next door, it was square & only about 30” square
