Old Photos Of Tittleshall

A Memory of Tittleshall.

Due to the closure a few years ago of Litcham Museum, an album of Tittleshall photos many with negatives were discovered and even more recently the death of a life long Tittleshall resident has produced a large number of very interesting photos of old times in Tittleshall. In fact I am surprised it is not common knowledge that some very interesting quite large photos have been on display for several years in what was the old School ( now Village Hall) from well over 100 years ago.
Fakenham Photographic Society has a copy of my album, although wouldn't normally deal with Tittleshall but did so as a favour.
In addition the new website for Tittleshall have some images to offer.
The recently discovered other photos have among them several School photos dating back over the years to 1904.So Actually "sorry we haven't got any photos for you" can now be forgotten.
Together with the Hall Committee and the Parish Council there is a good chance an exhibition may take place next year. There may be a small charge and funds raised help the new Village Hall roof.
I will give an update when all the new items just found have been catalogued and where these gems may be viewed .
