After my dad passed away in January this year (2012), I realised I knew very little about my family history. I started searching the records for dad's family - a difficult task looking for a Davies who was born in Wales! I had a stroke of luck when we came across my grandad's birth certificate. I was married here in 1966, and most of my family. My dearest Mammy and Daddy were married there, and my daughter, two sisters and brother.
Wonderful memories .... a lot of Christmas Eve Services with my cousin Pat and Bruce.. and some sad memories too.
