I used that record shop a lot in the early to mid 80s. The facia was just RECORDS, not sure it had a name..

For a while it was the mailing address for one of the pirate radio stations. Think it was JFM's or one of the other pirates about at the time...
Records it was, my Mum worked there lol.
Record centre.
In the early 90s it was called GOODNESS RECORDS
Before it Sadly closed down
As a young lad in the late 60`s i hung around the record Center.....i remember the manager Frank very well...in the 70`s i was a Teddy Boy....always in there looking for new vinyl...over the years i amased a huge collection, 45`s, albums, box sets, my old school mate Mark Finch (Finno) worked there....every time a new promo came in....i got it....(still have everything).....the best time was the height of the r`n`r reviveal.....i got first choice of what came in!....i have had staggering offers.....will never sell...i see them now as a investment,...that i`ll leave to my daughter, who will keep them in the family!
