This view is from inside the school quadrangle, with the Chapel and School House to the left. In front is the Great Hall, completed only 3 years before the photograph was taken. It has tall transomed windows at the side separated by giant pilasters. Above, the angled turrets and ogee caps give it a distinctive look. Later, the gateway would be moved back level with the Hall.
