The Croydon brewery of Nalder & Collyer sold its ales at a rural-looking Harrow Inn 100 years ago. The property was originally called Aynescombes and included Home Field and Pond Field, although a large roadside pond nearby no longer exists. The inn has undergone extensive improvement and enlargement in recent years.

I was delighted to find these lovely photos of the Warlingham area, but surprised that, so far, there is no reference to the Warlingham Park hospital, the staff and patients of which were a source of financial income to the area for over 100 years.
