More about this scene
The parish church interior enshrines much of Warrington's history through its memorials. An effigy of Lord Winmarleigh, great-grandson of the builder of Warrington's Town Hall, can be seen in St Anne's Chapel on the right. Hidden away on the left is the Boteler Chapel, containing several family tombs, including that of Sir Thomas Boteler, founder of the Grammar School.
