Family History - a Memory of Whissendine.
Family holidays were spent in Whissendine so in 1940 I was evacuated from London to stay with my grandmother Annie Buzzard. I went to the village school so remember a lot of village names, my Uncle Cecil Buzzard was also well known in the village. Most of my ancestors are buried in St Andrew's graveyard.
My name was Barbara Parkinson. I would love to hear from anyone who is still around and remembers me (we are all quite old now).
