All The Fun At The Fair In The 1960s - a Memory of Whitleigh.

Hi There Again can anybody recall Whiteleggs fair which used to arrive at Damerell fields in either June or July and remain there for many weeks. The big wheel,The Dodgems and The Noahs arc were just a few of the attractions and not forgetting candy floss and toffee apples. I can recall the different music being played as you walked around and who could resist a freshly cooked hotdog yum yum, Today I think the fair is now called Anderton and Rowland and iam sure somebody out there can recall this wonderful fair that used to come to Damerell fields during the 1960s. Happy Days.Barry Kitt.
