More about this scene
A narrow path leads through trees and across a small humpbacked bridge to the attractive shingle-spired church. The church is 15th-century, but its interior is much more recent. Most of the area we see is now smothered with modern housing, and the countryside cut off by the fast dual carriageway to Romney Marsh.
