More about this scene
This fine Georgian mansion was once even grander, for it originally had two substantial wings as well as the main house. It was built between 1752 and 1760 for Ralph Willett, who bought the estate in 1751 and hired an unknown local architect to design the house to his specifications. The wings were later demolished. It is now a model museum and exhibition centre.
