More about this scene
Wiveliscombe has been occupied since the Romans passed by, and during the medieval period it served as a summer residence for the Bishops of Bath and Wells. The Court House is a magnificent Tudor- style building, erected in 1881. Carved wooden panels decorate the corbelled windows and terracotta tiles adorn the façade. Inside, an impressive stairwell rises through the floors.
