More about this scene
Just 100 years ago Wollaston was a rural community. That began to change in the first half of the 20th century, but it was only after 1950 that the real housing boom began, resulting in massive residential estates. High Park Avenue and High Park Estate are named after the farm they supplanted, previously one of the largest in the district.
