Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

My family lived at 23 Selcourt Close, Woodley, around 1958-59, before we emigrated to Australia (now in Canada). I went to a convent school there, but can't remember much more than that, except some nice woods nearby.
Somewhere, not too far from Woodley, there is a pub called the But Inn, it was somewhat an old-fashioned pub where instead of hand pumps for filling up pint glasses there were barrels tipped on their sides and a wooden tap knocked into the barrel.
