Caption for Woodstock, Oxford Street 1950: Woodstock's close proximity to Blenheim Palace has long made it one of Britain's most popular destinations. The town has been attracting visitors for nearly 300 years; in the 1950s, when this photograph was taken, there were many hotels, tearooms and guest houses to cater for the large numbers of tourists.
