Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene
There are plenty of thatched cottages in Yardley Hastings, a pretty village on the A428 between Northampton and Bedford. About fifteen years before this picture was taken, in October 1940, a German parachutist was discovered and captured by two local men. When questioned by the police, he was found to be in possession of £100 and a false identity card.
