More about this scene

Caption for Yelverton, 1907: Originally part of the Elfordtown estate, and named after a prominent 16th-century mine-owner whose family continued in business as builders well into the 20th century, Yelverton was a spot of little note until, in 1887, it became the junction for the Princetown branch of the Plymouth to Tavistock Railway.
