Abberley Hall is part of an estate dating back to the Norman Conquest, when King William gave it to his supporter Todeni. The present house, seen here, goes back only to 1845. The original family home burnt down in a fierce blaze on Christmas Day 1845.

I was brought up in the 70's living in the gorgeous local village pub. I have fond memories playing on my bike in the car park, riding a pony to the village school and running around the grounds of the Saxon church. Not to mention my sleep walking around the village!
