More about this scene
Dating from long before the time when Machester's workers even considered the need to escape to live in more peaceful and cleaner areas, Chorley Hall is thought to be amongst the oldest inhabited timber-framed houses in the county. It dates from the 1300s, and is still being altered to suit the changing needs and fashions of today.
