Going For A Drink At The Oak Tree
A Memory of Catterick.
When I was stationed at Catterick in the RAF regiment, 1966 to 1971 we used to walk down to the lovely village and go for a drink at the Oak Tree pub. Then on the way back to camp would stop just past the Bay Horse pub and call in the chippy. Lovely. Have been back to see the village in 1976, 1985 and 2006 2008. Will call again sometime.
