My mum worked in The Kings Head and another one by the pond. There were three from memory. My brother Tony came off his bike and fell into the pond and broke his collar bone. I remember going down to the stream with one of those fishing nets and a glass jar. I remember dying Brian Storey’s hair blonde one day when my mum was at work, there were a few of us in the house. I got into so much trouble from my mum. Fun times for sure.
