Caption for Clydebank, Glasgow Road C1900: Everyone in this picture seems to be watching the cameraman. Electric trams first ran in Glasgow in 1898 on the Mitchell Street to Springburn route. By 1909, there were about 95 miles of double-track tramway, including lines to Govan, Partick, Pollockshaws and Rutherglen.
