The elegant Georgian house on the right of the road has been converted to offices.To the right of it is the entrance to Botley Mills, an 18th-century mill complex, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Just visible on the left of the picture is the stonework of the bridge which carries this road over the River Hamble.
