More about this scene
The stones for the Gorsedd Circle were quarried at the Trefil Quarry. They were later removed to their present site when the park was altered to make room for an extension to the steel works. Today the Gorsedd Circle Stones, first erected for the 1958 National Eisteddfod, can be found in a sunken garden to the north of the town centre near the River Ebbw.
