Edgware, The By Pass, Moat Mount c.1960

More about this scene
The A1 sweeps north between Moat Mound Recreation Ground and Mill Hill Golf Club, and is little changed since it was built, apart from the introduction of high level lighting standards. At the turn of the millennium we long for those halcyon days as traffic now reaches saturation point, potholes get deeper and deeper, and road repairs are always carried out at the most inconvenient spot on the road, invariably with scant evidence of work in action!
