Stanley J Lee
A Memory of Edgware.
I was a 15 year old in 1954 when this picture was taken. I was a pupil at Hendon Technical College in that year I and started work at Stanley J Lee the Drapery and Fashion store opposite the station. I worked there on Saturdays and during the School Holidays for 3 years whilst studying O/L and A/Ls. During this time I worked assisting the Window Dresser, also in most of the various departments providing cover when required. I had many amusing moments there and it gave me a very good grounding for my future life.
