More about this scene
Come in number 23, your time is up. However, the shirt-sleeved proprietor seems more intent on his new customer, who is looking over the offered rowing skiff with an apparently knowledgeable eye. Sleek craft such as these, or the sailing dinghy behind, have all but disappeared from today's municipal boating lakes, where pedalos and electric motorboats are now more the fashion.
