Caption for Forest Row, Hartfield Road 1907: This photograph was taken further down the road and two years earlier than photograph 61439. Buildings clad in white weatherboarding line the road, which is quite steep for horse-drawn transport. Holy Trinity church is seen in the distance.

In the 50's and 60's, I remember the building on the left of this photograph being a mill where they ground flour.
