More about this scene
Founded in the late 1100s, St Mary's was re-roofed in oak at the beginning of the 16th century. Pictured here is the east window, three lights with quatrefoils in roundels above each one. The beautiful four-bay arcade in the main body of the church is of exceptional quality and sports a variety of images including an ape playing a harp and a pig playing a fiddle!
