Kettering, Northampton Road 1922

More about this scene
This rural lane leading to Kettering was to change dramatically in the 1930s, when it would be bordered by large detached houses with elaborate gardens. The railway bridge is now too low for tall lorries, which are diverted. To the right, obscured by the trees, is the railway station.
