More about this scene
The Station Hotel, later the Pigeon Pair and now the Kingswood Arms, now has a profusion of flowers along its frontage as well as tables and chairs outside. The hotel was built when the railway arrived at Kingswood in 1897, and it still commands this part of Waterhouse Lane at its junction with Bonsor Drive and St Monica`s Road.
