More about this scene
A surprisingly spry 85-year-old building, the De Montfort Hall shows little sign of ageing. Designed by architect Shirley Harrison, the building is well-sited close to Victoria Park, and to Lutyens' War Memorial, dedicated to those who fell in the First World War. To the rear of the Hall is the university campus, with buildings by Denys Lasdun and James Stirling.
