It was good to get back to the small pleasures in life after the wartime years, and this small hotel seems a popular watering hole near the North Wales coast. The popular Reliant three-wheeler on the right enabled many less affluent types to take to the road at this time – and a few enthusiasts!

My mother and father owned the Dulas Arms back in 1945-1949, I still have the original Guest Book. I think Nora was my Nanny. I now live in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. If anyone knows more about this time, please let me know. I can scan pages from the Guest Book and forward. Does anyone know if Freddie Jones is still around?

Explore my past, gee I was born here in 1938 in Raynes Cottages, Llysfaen Station in the ICI Quarry.
