More about this scene
Facing the sea and with a large garden and tennis court, this private hotel promoted itself as being central for the Staghound, Foxhound and Harrier Meets, popular sports for the gentry classes who then visited the town. It was converted into flats in the 1930s and more lately has been divided between a Baptist holiday centre and Foxes Hotel.
