More about this scene
The dramatic greenstone pinnacle of Gull Rock, or Scovarn, dominates the entrance to the cove, which is now owned by the National Trust. Mullion (named after St Melanus) was once a thriving fishing community, making a living from the ubiquitous pilchards in the autumn and lobster and crab in spring.
