The Byron

A Memory of Northolt.

Does anyone remember The Byron Northolt it used to have dances on Thursday and Sunday. I lived on the Lime Tree Estate, so it was only a 15 min walk away. They had some really good groups playing there. I also remember the bouncers, any trouble and they would throw you out. I used to go there about 1965. I went to Vincent school so I remember a lot of the names mentioned on these pages. A lot of my school friends lived on the Racecourse estate. I remember escaping from school lunchtime and going to the cabin for sweets. I now live in Bourne Lincolnshire but I remember those happy days in Northolt.
