More about this scene

Some of the local shops look out onto the large pond at the top end of Norton High Street, with the Unicorn public house on the corner just to the right of centre. The famous Duck Pond was originally constructed some centuries ago; it was lined with clay so that it retained its water even though it was located at one of the higher points in Norton.
