Norton High Street is one of the surprise features in Teesside, with several elegant period houses nestling behind the trees which line the road verges. This was where some of the wealthy businessmen built their homes, when the village was separated from Stockton by green fields. Thank goodness, it is still a very pleasing environment to visit and explore.

This picture is of my Grandfather Jock (Craik) in Norton. I'd love to know who took the picture. Its brought back lots of memories for my Mother and her sister. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
