Salisbury, Blue Boar Row c.1950

More about this scene

Caption for Salisbury, Blue Boar Row C1950: Almost the same view as photograph No S48128, but obviously taken on market day. The traders' stalls can be seen on the Market Place, and there is far more activity in the surrounding streets. The Cadena Cafe, with its resident dance band, would have been busy all day; so too would Style and Gerrish's department store (now Debenham's) next door.
