I grew up in Southend in the 70's and 80's. The one thing I miss more than anything else since leaving is Rossi's. Ice-Cream to die for. I miss seeing Warrior Square gardens when I visit too. So much has changed.

Hi Sharon, I also thought that a Rossi ice-cream was the best. Way back in the late 1940's my Uncle Tom worked for Rossi's on the production line, and when he knew I was visiting, he would 'smuggle' out a slab of icing sugar used in the making of ice cream. No wonder I eventually lost my teeth. Cheers Mike Elliott.
