My Visit To Tring
A Memory of Tring.
Hi
When I was about 10 years old and my younger brother was 9, we went on a holiday to Tring for under privileged children around 1962. It was arranged by the CCHF
We stayed in a Bungalow, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Atkins and they had a son Stephen a daughter and 2 cats Snowball and Fleur
We thought we were miles away from London and remember going in the woods to a tree house, fishing and helping to save some sheep among other country activities that us city children did not experience.
I have very fond memories being there. Happy days
