Twycross, The Village c.1955

More about this scene
It is a quiet day in Twycross. The cafe is not overburdened with custom, and the road to the zoo, about two miles further on, awaits a surge of traffic, as does the Curzon Arms, at the road junction. The footpath between the low hedge and the rendered bungalow (right) offers a short meander to the gates of Gopsal Park and Little Twycross.
