More about this scene

The mostly 15th-century church of St Nicholas rises above the narrow street of stone cottages. Inside the church is a Jacobean pulpit, which is pierced by two bullet holes, remnants of the Civil War. The metal sign, partially obscured, is for Bev, a liquid coffee popular in World War II.
