At the east end of the nave aisle and on each side of the chancel arch are large brass posts with decorated candle holders, five in all. To the right of the nearest one is the staff or wand of the Vicar's Warden—these staffs are usually to be found next to the warden's seat. The nave had been almost completely rebuilt in 1882 and 1896.
