Happy Times - a Memory of Abersoch.

I am Ian Robinson and I worked at Land and Sea and then the Tarantella in 1965 with a guy called Rob Smedley the Tarantella was managed by a Mrs Olwyn Robinson and I think the owner was called Preston though I am not too sure of that. Does anyone know what happened to Rob Smedley I would very much like to know.

I am Debbie Tissot previously Cole, my 'uncle' owned tarantella and my god parents owned Land and sea and their name was Preston, Rob Smedley, I believe, nick name Spud worked for my parents at the White House Hotel, I remember sitting with him and other staff for our staff dinners before service, he was a lovely man, but I don't know where he went afterwards or can ask anyone now except my aunt and uncle who had Criag y mor hotel, who may remember. They still live in the area and I am sure you can track them down to ask. Good luck.
